About this clinic
WIC is a special supplemental food program for women, infants, and children to help keep them healthy and strong. If your family includes a pregnant, breastfeeding, or postpartum woman; a baby or child under the age of five, you may be eligible for this nutrition program. WIC offers nutrition information, breastfeeding support, lead screening, referrals to other health services and vouchers to purchase healthy food. The supplemental foods include iron-rich cereals, whole grains, fruits, fruit juices, eggs, peanut butter, dried beans, vegetables, milk, and iron-fortified infant formula. WIC's Farmers Market Nutrition Program is available June through September. Vouchers for this program can be used to purchase fresh fruits and vegetables at various farmers markets. You are likely income eligible for WIC if you receive BadgerCare. Many working families qualify for WIC. Fathers, guardians, and foster parents may apply for WIC for their children.
