What is WIC?

WIC provides supplemental foods, nutrition education, breastfeeding support, and health referrals for eligible pregnant women, new mothers, infants, and children under five.

Who is eligible?

Pregnant women
Postpartum and breastfeeding mothers
Infants up to 1 year old
Children up to age 5

Most families earning at or below 185% of the federal poverty level are eligible. Families receiving SNAP, Medicaid, or TANF usually qualify automatically.
