About this clinic
WIC is a supplemental nutrition program for women, infants, and children (WIC). The program provides free nutritious food and nutrition education in order to improve the health status of the participant. WIC is funded and administered nationally by the U.S. Department of Agriculture. Statewide, the program is operated by the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services and provided locally by the Texas County Health Department. WIC serves women who are pregnant, breastfeeding or have had a baby in the last 6 months, infants under one year of age and children up to 5 years of age who are at nutritional risk and have met income guidelines.
