Linda Peters: I'm writing for my cousin, Shirley Miller, 1927 Elk Avenue, Waverly, Iowa. She is alone, destitute, and in need of safe housing. She has never had a job. I am afraid for her that she will fall through her rotten back steps and that is the only entry/exit into her house. Her front door is glued shut with plumber's putty where she has tried to shut out the wind. I am very concerned for her. She is driving a car that is in very bad shape, with an exhaust leak into the car. She is 76 years old. PLease help her! (Don't tell her I have contacted you, please.)
