About this clinic
WIC is a federally funded nutrition program for Women, Infants, and Children. WIC provides the following at no cost: healthy foods, nutrition education and counseling, breastfeeding support, and referrals for health care. WIC is available to pregnant, breastfeeding, and postpartum women; infants, and children under 5 years of age. Fathers are welcomed to bring their children to apply for WIC. Legal guardians and/or foster parents of children under the age of 5 may apply for WIC services on behalf of their child. Participants must also be at nutrition risk. The assessment of nutrition risk is made by a Nutritionist of other health professional at the WIC office, at no cost to the client.

Christina Peters: I've been trying to get ahold of someone to schedule an appointment to get my wic benefits this month and there is always 10 or more callers ahead of me and once I finally am about to get through to someone after being on hold for 24 minutes I get hung up on!!!!! Please call me to get food for my 3 children!! 813-310-3714
