About this clinic
WIC is a Special Supplemental Nutrition Program that helps safeguard the health of low-income pregnant women, new mothers, infants and children at Nutritional risks. Our goal are to enhance the nutritional quality of diet, reduce the incidence of low birth weight, to reduce anemia, obesity prevention, breast feeding health benefits, immunization and diabetes dissemination. Our community program provides referral to other ENIPC, State, Local and National Programs. WIC is a preventative Public Health Nutrition Program, not a food program and that is what makes WIC different. The ENIPC Program has been in existance for over 34 years. We provide services to both tribal and non- tribal clients that reside throughout the Eight Northern Pueblos and Northern New Mexico. The ENIPC WIC Program serves three geographic areas: Rio Arriba, Santa Fe, Taos
